Rapped up a wonderful weekend in Asheville
with a vegetable lunch with my mom. The
tomatoes were fresh from the garden and
really really delicious. Followed by a fruit bowl.
It was the first time in a long time I had had a
American peach. Very different from Japanese
peaches but both are very good.
Some of you may know my cat Shadette. She
is alive and well and still really pretty. We lived
in many houses together in S.F. She went missing
once and I went on the roofs to go look for her.
Found her at a neighbors house. Had to jump
from rooftop to rooftop to get her then jump
back with her in my arms. I flew my mom out to get her
before moving to Hawaii so I would not loose her.
No trip is complete to your mom's house without
a look at an old school photo. This one was on her
desk. Me at ten years old at swim camp...
And now I am back in Charlotte. Had a lot of
fun in Asheville. Special thanks to you.
