ASHEVEGAS

Well we had a few days before our next project

so I took the chance to go celebrate the 4th

in the wonderful town of Asheville. 

Now most people go for the Bojangles when

they are back. Fast food of choice for me is...

I tried to stop by the skateshop Flip Side. It

closes early and I seem to always get there 

when it is closed. All of Lexington was packed.

Flip Side did have this cool shirt in the window.

Lexington Ave. and other streets are freshly

paved and looked fun for a night time hill

cruising session... anyone???

Today I am putting my childhood comic collection

in new sleeves. Nice to see the old stories. I loved

A death in the family series. アメリカンオタク。

Really was blown away by Frank Miller's drawings.

Loved everything Wolverine.

Which made me like the Punisher.

I drew this cover a lot.

Oh yeah, the freedom stick.... no wires.

from Tom Schulz's new series.

around 1997. 

LUCKY ME

Lucky for me just my things and art will be 

staying in that very interesting house. Thank

you Kyoko for helping me to store my things.

And thank you too Hori.

And thank you too Tony.

After moving all day we went 

and chilled at Kyoko's studio.

On my way home it was raining

and I had no umbrella ella ella.

So dipped inside and chatted 

about punk music. But, with 

a morning flight to the states

it was time to go home... See

you again soon Japan...
